Gaming Night
Requirement: Must attend or serve in the midweek service and have a parental permission form to participate. After the midweek service, teens are invited to Pastor David’s house to compete on an Xbox Series S to see who is the best. The only requirement is that teens get permission from parents and secure a ride home from Pastor David’s house. Junior Camp – Grandview
Campers in junior camp will experience a week packed with fun activities, great opportunities to hear and study the word of God, and team competition. In a week at Grand View, campers can take a trail ride through the national forest, play paintball, test their skills on the archery range and climbing wall, and hang out in the Ice-Cream shop or load up on sugary treats at the Snack Shop. Teen Missions Trip – Jamaica
This missions trip is designed for students (7th-12th) to understand the global need for the Gospel, serve the people of Jamacia with a missionary, and develop the heart of Christ in their life. Application Deadline: February 26, 2023
Parent Meeting
Location: Choir Room We are grateful to partner with each parent and reinforce what you are teaching at home here at Tucson Baptist Church. This meeting will take place after the morning service and is designed to give you important dates, the topics that we will be learning in Teen Bible Study, and have an opportunity to ask questions. If you have a student in the youth group, please plan to attend this meeting!
Student Leadership Team Meeting
Leaders in the Youth Group meet quarterly to plan the teen Bible studies, follow up on absentee and visiting teens, and grow in their leadership abilities.
Find Purpose Outreach Night
Every person wants to know what their purpose is, and this event will reveal what the Bible says about the purpose of each person who was created. Impowered and the Teens will be reaching out to their classmates from school and college with this activity. There will be inflatables and food for everyone that attendance.
Mall Night – Tucson Premium Outlets
If you like competing against others and know your way around a mall then you’re gonna love this activity! The teens are going to meet at the church and ride the church van to the Tucson Premium Outlets and compete for some free Starbucks. They will have a creative way to share the Gospel during this activity as well! We will eat dinner at the Mall so bring money to buy dinner.
Recharge Youth Rally
ABOUT THE EVENT On Saturday, October 21, we will be attending the Recharge Youth Rally at NewLife Baptist Church. We will hear from a dynamic guest speaker that will have an impact on teens and their parents. Over the last several years, this conference has proven vital to teens and their families. College Days: West Coast Baptist College
Cost: $45 Attend classes. Stay on campus. Experience campus life. Friends. This trip is a special event designed specifically to help high school sophomores, juniors, seniors and recent graduates learn how West Coast Baptist College can help them to train to fulfill their purpose.
Ice Skating
Cost: $15 Enjoy the ice and try to stay up while we go to AZ Ice in Gilbert. Your registration will include 60 minutes on the ice and the skate rental. You will need to bring extra money for lunch.
