Today’s Verse

Every word of God is pure.

Proverbs 30:5

Sunday, February 13

If the Word of God is inspired or God-breathed, then it must be inerrant since it was given to us from the perfect God.

Inerrant means “containing no error.” Infallible means “incapable of error.” The Word of God contains no errors because the God of the Word can make no errors.

Jeremiah 10:10 says, “But the LORD is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting King.”

John 3:33 says, “He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.”

Jesus prayed in John 17:3, “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.”

1 John 5:20 says, “And we know that the Son of God is come and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.”

Titus 1:2 speaks of God “who cannot lie.” The inerrancy of the Word of God is indivisible from the God of the Word. God is true. He cannot lie, so He will not lie and He has not lied. Every Word of the Bible is vital truth for our lives.

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.

Ephesians 3:20

"Faith is resting in the fact that God has an objective in leaving me on the scene when I feel useless to Him and a burden to others."
