Many people have been mistaken about eternity!

That reminds me of John Wesley who came from England to Georgia to preach to the Indians. He was not yet saved and he cried out, “I went to America to convert the Indians, but, oh, who shall convert me?” It was through the witness of Moravian missionaries that he came to truly be born again.

You are never too old to trust Christ. Only foolish pride would keep someone from accepting the greatest gift that has been given.

The Lord had been dealing with all these people for a long time. It took each of them a great while to understand and accept the fact that although they had been in the church they were not in Christ. As you examine your own life, perhaps you are realizing that you too need to be genuinely saved.

One day God will examine each one of us.

You might miss an appointment with your dentist or with your accountant but you will not miss your appointment with God. That is more certain than anything in your life. We do not enter into heaven based on what we profess to be but upon what we really are.
