Today’s Verse

Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being examples to the flock.

I Peter 5:3

Our CHILDREN need to be empowered. Only God knows what great things they will do if they have just a little encouragement. Every adult ought to take time to talk to our kids and make them feel important. I love it when they run up to me to hug me or shake my hand.

Our YOUTH need to be empowered. Soon they will be moving into positions of leadership, and we will hand them the torch!

Our YOUNG ADULTS need to be empowered. They are making decisions right now that will affect them the rest of their lives.

Our YOUNG FAMILIES need to be empowered. They need to learn how to establish a Christian environment in their homes.

Our YOUNG MINISTERS need to be empowered. They need encouragement to use their gifts to their fullest abilities.

Our MIDDLE-AGED MEMBERS need to be empowered. They need to see the glass of their lives as “half-full” not “half-empty.”

Our SENIORS need to be empowered. They need to realize that they can still have the best years of their life in God’s service.

We have people who’ve been divorced, come off drugs and alcohol, people who’ve been abused, people who are hurting from thousands of different wounds. Each of these precious people need someone to empower them.

Weekly Memory Verse

And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
