Today’s Verse

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Acts 1:8

Sunday, December 18

When God saved you, God graced you with a serving gift. When God saved you, God graced you with the presence of the Holy Spirit of God. With His calling always comes an enabling.

Whether you are a teacher or a factory worker or a business owner; the fact is that God has called ALL of us to be soul winners. Not a single person is permitted to disobey this command. Soul winning is not a spiritual gift. Soul winning is a responsibility of every single Christian. God calls us; God enables us by His grace.

If we are going to reach this world with the gospel, we are going to have to pray with hearts of compassion. When we reach our comfort zone, we often lose our compassion for the lost. Be challenged today with the words of this great song!

Once I was straying in sin’s dark valley,

No hope within could I see,

He searched through Heaven, and found a Savior

To save a poor lost soul like me.

O what a Savior, O hallelujah!

His heart was broken on Calvary,

His hands were nail-scarred,

His side was riven,

He gave His life-blood for even me.
