Today’s Verse

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Matthew 28:19

Thursday, December 15

God has called you and me to go to a lost and dying world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. There is an entire world that has never been inside a church and they need the gospel. People NEED the Lord. This is “why” we do Journey Through Christmas!

People need to know that Jesus died for their sins and that if they would trust in Him they can be saved. Neighborhood children need the Lord. Young people need the Lord. You know that guy you work with, who acts like he has it all together, has his degree, his money, his career map all figured out, his house and his hobbies; he NEEDS the Lord. Be reminded that people are on their way to hell if they do not have Jesus Christ.

I say with a broken heart, that person that acts like they have it all together and has all the things this world can offer; they need Jesus Christ. The lower, middle and upper class people need the Lord. You see there is NO class with the Lord. The ground is level at the foot of the cross. Jesus loves all and He died for all.

Every class; every race needs Jesus Christ as their Savior. This being written, there is no greater joy in life than to serve God from a heart filled with gratitude and grace to the Lord Jesus Christ.

We need to spend some time alone with Him and remember the day we got saved. We need to ask God to fill our hearts and lives with grace once again. We need to ask God to give us compassion once again.

Will you pray today that we will see people saved here at Tucson Baptist?

Weekly Memory Verse

Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
